Christie Glasson has over 10 years experience in the web design and development industry. Starting her career in an e-commerce team at the illustrious Macquarie Bank in 1999, Christie rapidly developed skills in user interface design, content management systems, as well as css, html, javascript, xml and php development languages.

After leaving Macquarie in 2002, Christie worked many years in the hospitality industry where she managed, influenced and personally developed many sites for businesses and industry groups. It is through this experience that she gained insight into how users wish to use the internet to interact with businesses. She also identified that many businesses were being overcharged by web-development companies as they simply didn't understand the process of implementing a web site.

It was from this discovery that Web-Chic was born. In 2009, Christie decided to start a web development business that produced high quality, premium sites at a realistic price. Web-Chic aims to serve small businesses, sole traders, or even people with a serious hobby who perhaps thought that having a professional looking web site was not within their capacity. In an industry rife with over- inflated quotes, Web-Chic proves that sometimes the saying ' you get what you pay for' just simply isn't true!
